Sometimes, life’s most meaningful journeys begin in the most unexpected ways. When Alisha met Ryan in August 2015, she was a single mom, two years post-divorce, doing her best to raise two amazing kids. The dating world felt impossible, and she’d reached a point of surrender trusting that if something was meant to happen, it would.
And then, one ordinary morning at the ambulance company where they both worked, their paths crossed. Ryan was there an EMT with a quiet strength holding the door open for her. In that instant, something inside her just knew. She couldn’t even explain it, but it felt like destiny stepped in. Alisha didn’t even know his name, but she knew he would become part of her story.
A few days later, after some friendly messages, Ryan invited her to the firehouse. From that day on, they were inseparable. They built a life together, blending their families and welcoming two more beautiful children into the world. When they married, they chose to honor their blended family by keeping Alisha's maiden name for her older kids, with Ryan supporting her every step of the way.
Fast forward to 2024, as they dreamed about building something together that truly mattered.They wanted to create a company that reflected their values connection, care, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen and supported on their wellness journey. That’s how DenGlo was born: a name that combines both of their family names, a symbol of unity, hope, and new beginnings.
